ABOUT
I am a freelance journalist with experience that ranges from quick-hit news coverage to long-form feature writing. In November, I will begin a three month contract as a staff writer with Boston.com.
I graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University in May 2023 with degrees in English and film & media studies. While there, I was editor in chief of The Tufts Daily, a print and online daily newspaper that is financially and editorially independent from the university.
I managed, trained, and mentored a 300+ person staff and was responsible for editing and fact-checking all written and multimedia work. I oversaw fundraising and our finances, communicated with university stakeholders and improved our social media and newsletter strategies, prioritizing growth and increased engagement.
From there, I co-founded an online publication called the Student Dispatch with the goal of turning an investigative eye to the issues everyday Massachusettsans face. I spent six months at Boston.com on general assignment, where my 200 stories collectively brought the site two million page views and one million engaged minutes.
I’ve loved storytelling for as long as I can remember, and I’ve wanted to be a journalist since I was in high school. Writing has always been my way of processing what’s happening around me, and I aim for my work to help others do the same.
